Dave Matthews, Chair

Dave Matthews has more than 25 years of regulatory and electricity experience from a wide range of employers, including the Ontario Energy Board and B.C. Hydro. Mr. Matthews is currently Vice President, Regulatory Solutions, for Elenchus Research Associates. Prior to joining Elenchus, he was Director, Government and Regulatory Affairs, at Direct Energy Marketing Ltd and held a number of strategic utility positions with Enbridge Gas Distribution in municipal affairs, business development and regulatory strategy. As Senior Board Advisor to the OEB, Dave was a key contributor to the deregulation of the natural gas industry and the introduction of the Energy Competition Act. |
Andy Molenaar, Vice Chair

With a wealth of experience behind him as a Commis-sioner on the former Brantford Public Utilities and Brantford Hydro-Electric Commissions (1994-2000), Andy Molenaar was appointed Vice Chair of Brantford Power, created in 2000 as part of the Ontario Government's electricity industry restructuring. A graduate Mechanical Engineering Technician from Mohawk College, he is the owner and publisher of TV FACTS (Brantford) Inc. |
Eva Ligeti, Director

Environmentalist, university professor and lawyer, Eva Ligeti brings a wealth of skills plus knowledge of how government works to the BPI board. Currently an adjunct professor at the University of Toronto's Graduate Programme in Geography at Innis College, she served as Ontario's first Environmental Commissioner (1995-99); held senior posts at Seneca College and is Executive Director of Toronto's Clean Air Partnership. |
Timothy Curtis
Timothy Curtis is a former Vice President, Corporate Development, and Chief Financial Officer of Fort-Erie-based FortisOntario Inc. Mr. Curtis' 20 years experience in financial management will bring valuable regulatory, accounting, tax and finance skills to the Board. |
