Brantford Power has received reports of a telephone marketing firm, misrepresenting themselves as Brantford Power and marketing a device that is said to reduce electrical bills. Customers report that the telephone salesperson has said, "I checked on the Internet and your bills are high."
Brantford Power treats individual customer consumption information as personal information. Private customer information is not available on the Internet and is not used for marketing purposes. Brantford Power representatives do not solicit business by telephone, and can provide photo identification if requested.
